When something shows up twice

If you watch more than one channel for the same client, the same commitment can sometimes show up twice - say, once in an email thread and once in a Slack message about the same thing.

When Norian notices this, it suggests merging the two into one item, so your radar shows a single entry instead of two duplicates for what is really one commitment.

Merge or keep separate

The choice is yours. Choose "Merge" if the two are genuinely the same commitment, and Norian treats them as one going forward, with a single status and a single due date. Choose "Keep separate" if they're not related, and Norian leaves both items exactly as they are.

Norian only ever suggests a merge. It never merges items on your behalf, so nothing is combined without you confirming it first.
