Reconnecting a dropped inbox
What it means when an inbox connection drops, and how to reconnect it.
Sometimes an inbox connection drops on its own, usually because access was revoked at the provider's end, a password changed, or a permission was withdrawn. When that happens, you'll see a reconnect banner in your workspace and the affected inbox is marked "monitoring paused."
Norian can't watch an inbox it can no longer see. While a connection is paused, no new email from that inbox is scanned, so nothing new reaches your radar or digest from it. This is different from choosing to disconnect on purpose, it's Norian noticing it lost access and telling you.
To fix it, go to your connection settings and reconnect the inbox. You'll go through the same provider sign-in as the first time. Once reconnected, monitoring picks back up from there.
Your existing items are untouched throughout. Nothing that was already extracted is affected by a dropped or reconnected connection, only what happens while it's paused.
If you meant to disconnect the inbox rather than reconnect it, see Disconnect an inbox or delete your workspace.
