Disconnect an inbox or delete your workspace
How disconnecting an inbox and deleting your workspace work, and what each one removes.
Disconnecting an inbox revokes Norian's access immediately. We call the provider directly to cancel the connection before removing it from your account, so access ends at the source, not just on our side. You can reconnect the same inbox at any time, and your existing items stay as they were.
If you connected Outlook through the Outlook-direct path, you may also want to remove Norian's access from your Microsoft account directly, at myaccount.microsoft.com under app permissions. This is a manual extra step some users prefer for peace of mind. It isn't required, since disconnecting in Norian already revokes access, but it's there if you want the confirmation.
Deleting your workspace is a separate, larger action. It's confirmed with a one-time code sent to your email, so it can't happen by accident or from a compromised session. Once confirmed, we revoke every connected inbox first, then delete the workspace and purge its data in the background, usually within about a minute.
If you're the sole owner of the workspace and it's your only one, deleting it also removes your login identity entirely. If you own or belong to another workspace, your login stays and only this workspace's data is gone.
There's no undo once a workspace is deleted. If you're not sure, exporting your data first is a good idea.
If your inbox connection has dropped on its own rather than by choice, see Reconnecting a dropped inbox instead.
