Monitoring and alerts

How to adjust which contacts Norian scans and how quickly it flags an open item.

Three controls in Settings shape what Norian watches and when it speaks up. All three live in the Email monitoring panel.

Scan contacts using personal email addresses

On by default. When this is on, Norian also monitors commitments and requests from contacts who email you from Gmail, Outlook, and other personal providers, not just from client company domains. Turn it off if you'd rather Norian only track business-domain clients.

Send weekend digests

Off by default. When off, digest emails go out Monday to Friday only. Even if something is at risk over the weekend, Norian waits for Monday. Turn it on if you work weekends and would rather hear about it as it happens.

Alert threshold

This sets how many days an open item waits before Norian flags it in your daily digest. The default is 2 days, and you can adjust it anywhere from 1 to 7. A shorter threshold means faster alerts on quiet items; a longer one means more patience before Norian speaks up.

Items with a known deadline are the exception: they're always flagged on their due day, regardless of the threshold. The threshold only controls timing for items without an explicit date.
