Slack
Connect Slack so commitments made in a channel get the same follow-through as email.
Some features described here are rolling out gradually and may not be on your account yet.
Norian can watch Slack channels the same way it watches email: reading for commitments and requests, then flagging the ones at risk of slipping.
Connect an inbox first
Slack monitoring builds on top of your existing email monitoring, so you'll need an email inbox connected before you can connect Slack. Norian uses the clients it already knows about from your inbox as the starting point for matching Slack activity to the right client.
Tell Norian which client a channel is for
Slack doesn't organise itself around clients the way an inbox does. After connecting, you tell Norian which client each channel belongs to. Norian only watches channels you've assigned this way; everything else stays untouched.
Channels with a colleague are opt-in
If a channel includes a colleague as well as a client, Norian never starts watching it automatically. You choose whether to opt that channel in, so a teammate being present in a chat is never on its own a reason for Norian to read it.
